    Good day brothers
Been working out for 6 months now
I was 170 lbs 5'vii 1/2 when i first worked out and could simply bench 50 lbs full.
Now im 140lbs and tin just demote 120 lbs for three repetitions.
    Am i considered weak?
I am aiming for a 150 lbs bench press without gaining weight coz if i proceeds weight my cheeks look fat.is it possible to proceeds strength without gaining weight?

Let me as well know your weight and how much tin you bench brothers!

  3. I keep hearing all this talk near bench pressing but wake up, put weight on the bar and lift the bar. The weights have holes in them for a reason, duh.
  4. Oasis't bar benched in a long fourth dimension, forepart delts give thanks me every week.
  5. I don't lift regularly but I am pretty sure that this is pretty weak, yes.

If you could only demote 50 pounds when you started you lot seriously take some structural weakness.

Most guys in decent shape can bench at least their body weight, more often than not a little more. 120x3 is of course below your bw at 140, so you're a petty low but sounds like y'all're notwithstanding pretty new and so that'due south to be expected.

if you get it up to 150 that'd be pretty decent initial goal

  7. You must have been the fattest 170 lb'r of all fourth dimension. Do you take a debilitating disease, polio or palsy perhaps?
  8. Don't exist so harsh on TS, he might have 1 arm. Which would make him a monster in core balance to single manus printing 140 with no counter weight.

I can't even bench press a toothpick. It'south sad really.
  10. OT but not.

Push button-ups destroyed my bench, Probably from over working muscle grouping. Tried to do the 100 push up challenge and my bench weight went downward after beingness able to do lx-70 button ups. Then shoulder felt like a knife was bankrupt off in information technology, then gave up on claiming.

Had a similar feel... as my push-ups total went up I started getting pain on one side and I had to give upward on information technology
  12. Guys who lift weights, yes can elevator their trunk weight but the boilerplate 'joe' who claims he is 'decent' in shape cannot.

The fact that the boilerplate American homo can merely exercise 1 pullup should tell you something.

Average man is close to 200lbs (mostly fat) and can one rep max 135lbs on a bench. If they dropped the body fatty % that bench would go down.

I ever liked the demote printing crusade basically you are laying on the demote the whole time. I adult a nice set of chesticles over fourth dimension.
  14. That's insane. It must have something to practice with the obesity epidemic in the USA because in Germany I would say that a expert 75% of people weighing 200 lbs would take a much college ane rep max.

That 1 rep max of 135 is like the stat of a non-fat but sedentary smaller guy, like 150 pounder or something.

  15. If non for that 5 inch penis prevarication, I'd post this in the part
