Comedian Ronny Chieng coming to Singapore in November with new evidence
The Malaysia-born, U.s.a.-based standup comic and Crazy Rich Asians star will perform his show, Tone Issues, at the Esplanade Theatre on Nov 29.

Comedian Ronny Chieng is headed to Singapore on his brand new Tone Issues bout.
He will be performing at the Esplanade Theatre on Nov 29 at 7pm.

The Johor Bahru, Malaysia-born, US-based comedian is best known as a correspondent on The Daily Testify with Trevor Noah. His other loftier profile gigs include striking comedy Crazy Rich Asians, The Late Show With Stephen Colbert and the This night Show With Jimmy Fallon.
Chieng spent ten years in Singapore when he was younger, studying at Pioneer Secondary School and Pioneer Junior Higher in his teens. He revealed in a 2022 tweet that he scored 233 on his PSLE.
He even so has family living in Singapore, including his mother, whom he joked about in a contempo set he performed in Toronto most having to help her with tech issues.
Chieng recently filmed his debut Netflix special in Los Angeles and will be touring the Us, Australia and New Zealand with his Tone Issues show.
The standup comic was a constabulary student in Australia before he turned to comedy. He is a previous winner of both the Melbourne International Comedy Festival'southward Best Newcomer and Manager's Option Awards, and likewise won the Sydney Comedy Festival's Best Show laurels in 2014.
